Amman, Oct. 1 (Petra) — Her Royal Highness Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, launched the 10th Arab Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign on Wednesday under the slogan “You Are the Foundation, Get Screened.” The campaign’s video encourages women across the Arab world to prioritize early detection through regular breast cancer screening.
Managed by the Jordan Breast Cancer Program (JBCP), the initiative aims to raise awareness and understanding of breast cancer throughout Arab societies, emphasizing the vital role of early diagnosis in saving lives.
The campaign brings together cancer organizations and stakeholders from over 15 countries, including Algeria, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Mauritania, Palestine, Egypt, Lebanon, Sudan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Tunisia, Qatar, and Jordan.
