Amman, Oct 1 (Petra) – Sri Lankan Ambassador Priyangika Wijegunasekara Wednesday inaugurated her country’s photo and heritage exhibition at the Royal Cultural Center, in the presence of the Ministry of Culture’s Secretary-General and a number of Arab and Asian ambassadors.
The envoy told the opening ceremony of the “Explore Sri Lanka” exhibition that it will showcase more than 50 photos “of some of Sri Lanka’s spectacular attractions, from golden beaches and misty mountains to ancient archaeological sites and vibrant cultural traditions.”
“It is more than a collection of images, but a bridge to foster greater understanding and friendship between our nations,” she added.
