Environmental Performance, Innovation Indicators
Muscat, 2 Oct (ONA) — The National Competitiveness Committee today held its second meeting of 2025 during which it reviewed the progress
made in the Environmental Performance Index (EPI). It also determined the party
entrusted with leading the water and wastewater quality index in the EPI.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister
of Economy, and attended by representatives of the private sector.
The committee also discussed developments
in the Global Innovation Index.
Acting in coordination with the authorities
concerned, the National Competitiveness Office keeps monitoring international indices
with a view to upgrading the Sultanate of Oman’s global rankings.
