Amman, Oct. 2 (Petra) – The total trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Thursday reached JD8.1 million, with 3.8 million shares traded through 3,255 transactions.
The general share price index closed at 3,038 points, down by 0.08 percent.
Out of 98 listed companies that traded today, 28 recorded gains, while 40 declined, compared with their previous closing price.
At the sector level, the industrial index dropped by 1.25 percent, while the services index rose by 0.29 percent and the financial index edged up by 0.08 percent.
