Amman, Oct. 2 (Petra) – Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director, Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah, on Thursday met with Czech Ambassador Andrea Ku?erov? and her accompanying delegation to discuss strengthening police and security cooperation between the two countries.
Talks focused on expanding collaboration in training and exchanging expertise in cybersecurity, described as one of today’s most pressing security challenges, with the aim of boosting institutional capacities and enhancing operational efficiency.
Maaytah highlighted the depth of Jordan-Czech strategic relations across multiple fields, stressing the PSD’s commitment to advancing security partnerships, particularly in addressing digital threats and safeguarding cyberspace through knowledge sharing and joint field experiences.
Ku?erov? praised the PSD’s efforts in delivering comprehensive security and humanitarian services, underlining the importance of continued cooperation to protect communities and reinforce the strong partnership between Jordan and the Czech Republic.
