Amman, Oct 4 (Petra) – The Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) said Saturday its crews handled 1,264 various accidents and emergencies across the Kingdom in the past 24 hours, including ambulance, rescue, and firefighting operations.
It said crews responded to 1,056 emergencies in an average of 7:35 minutes, 128 rescue operations in about 7:34 minutes, and 80 fires in 7:31 minutes.
It stressed the readiness of field crews to promptly deal with various incidents around the clock, with the highest levels of efficiency, to protect citizens and their property.
