Amman, Oct. 6 (Petra) — The technical staff of the Jordan U-17 Women’s National Football Team has announced the final 23-player squad set to compete in the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers, scheduled to take place from October 13 to 17 in Aqaba.
The team concluded its training program in Amman following months of preparation through a series of local and international camps. The delegation is expected to arrive in Aqaba on Monday ahead of the tournament kickoff.
Jordan will compete in Group H, facing Bangladesh on October 13 and Chinese Taipei on October 15. The group winners from each of the eight qualifying groups will advance to the continental finals.
The Jordan Football Association (JFA) reaffirmed its commitment to providing comprehensive support to the U-17 women’s team through continuous training and international exposure, aiming to ensure the best possible performance in the upcoming qualifiers and future competitions.
