New York, Oct. 8 (Petra) – The US stock market showed mixed performance on Wednesday, with the tech-heavy Nasdaq index rising 255 points, or 1.12 percent, to reach 23,043 points.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average remained steady at 46,601 points, while the S&P 500 gained about 39 points, closing at 6,753 points.
Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil edged up by less than a dollar to settle at $62.40 per barrel.
