Gaza Strip, Oct 15 (Petra) – The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday reported 25 deaths in the last 24, including 16 bodies pulled from the rubble and one who succumbed to his wounds from Israeli fire.
It said 35 people were also injured in the past hours despite a ceasefire that generally held in the past days.
The latest casualties took the death toll from Israel’s war, which began on October 7, 2023, to 67,938 and the total number of injuries was up to 170,169, it said.
The ministry said many victims remained under the rubble or on roads with ambulances unable to reach them amid dire humanitarian and health conditions in the enclave.
