13 Nov (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index concluded today’s trading
session at 5,723.50 points, registering a rise of 3.5 points, equivalent to 0.06
percent, from its previous close of 5,720.04 points.
Trading
activity witnessed an increase, with total market turnover reaching RO 27,307,237,
representing a drop of 36.2 percent compared to the previous session’s RO 42,795,280.
According
to the official market report released by MSX, overall market capitalization
went down by 0.025 percent from the last trading day, settling at approximately
RO 31.77 billion.
Non-Omani
investor purchases totaled RO 2,554,000, accounting for 9.35 percent of total
market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 2,663,000, representing 9.75
percent of market turnover. This resulted in a net increase in foreign
investment of RO 109,000, equivalent to a 0.40 percent decrease in foreign net
investment activity.
