Amman, Nov. 24 (Petra) — The Palestinian–Jordanian Business Forum held an economic seminar on Sunday evening titled “Gold as a Safe Investment Tool in an Era of Global Economic Instability.” The session was delivered by Osama Imseeh, Chairman of Imseeh Jewelry Group.
Imseeh, who also serves as Vice President of the Jordanian Businessmen Association, offered an analytical overview of gold’s role as a core hedging asset within investment portfolios, particularly as global markets experience turbulence and monetary policies continue to shift.
According to a statement released by the Forum on Monday, Imseeh emphasized the long-term value of gold as a protector of wealth, noting its resilience during inflationary pressures and interest rate fluctuations.
He also explored the evolving dynamic between gold and the U.S. dollar, illustrating how changes in the dollar’s strength influence gold prices and affect investor behavior.
Imseeh pointed to a growing international trend: central banks around the world have been steadily increasing their gold reserves in recent years, signaling a broader move toward strengthening hedging strategies and reducing reliance on dollar-based assets.
The seminar, moderated by the Forum’s Chairman Nazmi Atmeh, concluded with an interactive discussion on gold’s future outlook, optimal investment strategies, and the distinctions between physical gold and gold-related financial instruments.
