Aqaba, Nov. 26 (Petra) – The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) has launched meetings for the committees overseeing the subsidized land-sale project, chaired by ASEZA Chief Commissioner Shadi Al-Majali, alongside the local community representatives’ committee, as part of efforts to strengthen coordination and ensure community participation in advancing the project’s study and implementation.
The meetings, attended by Commissioner for Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Mutasem Hindawi and Commissioner for Economic Affairs and Investment Mohammad Abu Omar, aim to review regulatory details and approved criteria for the subsidized land-sale scheme to ensure fairness and transparency. They also include discussions with local representatives on incomplete applications, as well as providing guidance and responses to committee inquiries to enrich the project’s review process and support its development goals.
Local community representatives welcomed the initiative, expressing appreciation for opening channels of dialogue that serve the public interest and promote social stability.
