Gaza, Dec. 1 (Petra) – The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said on Monday that thousands of families in Gaza remain unaware of the fate or whereabouts of their loved ones.
In a statement, the ICRC stressed that international humanitarian law requires that bodies be treated with respect and dignity.
It added that the organization is supporting forensic and health authorities in managing, documenting, and tracing bodies to help identify them and enable families to find closure.
