Amman, Dec. 22 (Petra) – Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Azmi Mahafzah met with French Ambassador to Jordan Franck Gellet on Monday to discuss prospects of forging closer ties between the two countries.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in higher education and scientific research, including academic exchanges, student mobility, expanding collaboration between universities and educational institutions, and promoting French language teaching in Jordanian universities.
The discussion also covered incorporating French into the high school vocational track curriculum, particularly in the travel and tourism program, to equip students with additional language skills.
