Palestinian Martyred, Others Injured in Israeli Attacks on Central and Southern Gaza StripGaza, 23 Aug 2026 (ONA) — A Palestinian was martyred today, and two others were injured in an airstrike and shooting in central and southern Gaza Strip. Medical sources reported that a Palestinian was martyred and another critically injured in an Israeli drone strike targeting people near the entrance to Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. A child was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces in Hamad City, north of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli military vehicles also opened heavy fire on eastern areas, displaced persons’ tents in Asdaa area and its surroundings, and several towers in Hamad City. Israeli occupation warships also opened fire off the coast of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, while artillery shelling targeted the northern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
