Amman, Dec. 23 (Petra) — Total trading volume of Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Tuesday reached JD8.1M, as 4.3M shares were traded through 3,419 transactions.
The ASE general index closed at 3,545 points, marking a 0.41% increase, compared with the previous session.
Indices of the Financial and Services sectors rose 0.58% and 0.32%, respectively, while the Industrial Index edged down 0.01%.
Of the 109 companies whose shares were traded, 39 recorded price gains, while 34 posted declines, compared with their previous closing prices.
