Amman, Jan. 2 (Petra)– Bloomberg has ranked the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) 13th worldwide in terms of performance from the beginning of 2025 through the end of the year, after the market recorded gains of more than 45%, according to global market index data.
This strong performance is considered an important positive economic indicator and reflects a notable improvement in Jordan’s investment climate. It also highlights the growing attractiveness of the ASE to both local and foreign capital, outperforming a large number of regional and international markets.
The advance is attributed to several key factors, most notably improved financial results of listed companies, the stability of economic policies, and rising investor confidence in the performance of the national economy.
The ranking underscores the Amman Stock Exchange’s ability to deliver competitive returns amid ongoing volatility in global markets, reinforcing its position as one of the region’s promising investment destinations.
Trading on the ASE closed last Wednesday the final trading session of 2025 at 3,611 points, a record level not seen in 17 years.
