Amman, Jan 7 (Petra) – Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan on Wednesday received President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renaud-Basso and her accompanying delegation at his office at the Prime Ministry.
The prime minister underscored Jordan’s keenness to strengthen cooperation and partnership with the EBRD, particularly in light of the implementation of the Economic Modernization Vision, which includes launching major development projects in the water, transport, energy and infrastructure sectors, among others.
For her part, the EBRD president expressed appreciation for the partnership with Jordan and the bank’s commitment to supporting the government’s development efforts.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan.
