Khartoum, Jan. 13, 2026 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Lt. Gen. Engineer Ibrahim Jabir, today visited the Armoured Corps Command in Al-Shajara military area, praising the unit as a “fortress of steadfastness” that played a decisive role in halting the enemy’s advance during the Battle of Dignity.During the visit, Lt. Gen. Jabir was briefed on the corps’ maintenance operations and ongoing plans to restore and enhance its combat capabilities. He commended the unit’s efforts in clearing war debris, which have facilitated the return of normal life in affected areas.Concluding his tour, the TSC member inspected Al-Shajara military hospital and a nearby girls’ school, pledging to address all deficiencies in the hospital to ensure quality healthcare for both military personnel and civilians.AS/BH
