Amman, Jan. 19 (Petra) — Trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange on Monday reached JD 15.7 million, with 6.6 million shares traded through 3,816 transactions.
The ASE general index closed at 3,548 points, up 0.42 percent.
The financial sector index rose 0.49 percent, the services sector gained 0.30 percent, and the industrial sector increased 0.15 percent.
Of the 102 companies traded, share prices rose for 29 companies and fell for 37, compared with their previous closes.
