Amman, Jan. 20 (Petra) — Trading on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Tuesday totaled JD8.4 million, with 3.6 million shares exchanged through 2,974 transactions.
The general share price index rose 0.68 percent to close at 3,572 points.
The financial sector index climbed 1.06 percent, while services advanced 0.15 percent. The industrial sector declined 0.10 percent.
Of the 99 companies traded, share prices rose for 37 companies and fell for 24.
