Ramallah, Jan 21 (Petra) – Israeli occupation forces arrested 19 “wanted” Palestinians during raids across the West Bank on Wednesday, according to Palestinian sources.
The army also demolished a house under construction in the village of Kafr ad-Dik, west of Salfit, and another home in the town of Shuqba, west of Ramallah, but delayed the evacuation of two other homes, they said.
For the third consecutive day, troops closed roads in the Hebron area with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds, local residents said.
Military checkpoints were erected at the entrances to Hebron’s towns, villages, and refugee camps, many homes were raided and ransacked, and people were assaulted by soldiers.
In the northern West Bank, Jewish settlers set alight three bulldozers, a car, and other equipment in the village of Urif, south of Nablus, local sources said.
