Djibouti, Jan. 28, 2026 (SUNA) – Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris held bilateral talks Wednesday with Djiboutian Prime Minister Abdulkader Kamil Mohamed to discuss strengthening cooperation across all sectors and issues of mutual interest.During the meeting, Dr. Idris praised Djibouti’s support for Sudan in regional and international forums and affirmed the government’s commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation, highlighting the longstanding ties between the two countries.Djiboutian Prime Minister welcomed Dr. Idris’s visit, underscoring the deep-rooted historical relations and the shared will to build a new reality and a better future for both nations, while enhancing collaboration in all fields.The Sudanese delegation included Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ambassador Muawiya Osman Khalid, Deputy Director of the Intelligence Service Lieutenant General Abbas Mohamed Bakhit, and Prime Minister’s advisers Nizar Abdullah Mohamed and Ambassador Badr-Eddin Al-Jaifri, alongside Sudan’s ambassador to Djibouti Mohamed Said Hassan.
