29 Jan 2026 (ONA) — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index closed lower
today, dropping 0.49 percent.
The
MSX 30 Index concluded the trading session at 6,330.27 points, registering a drop
of 31.2 points from the previous close of 6,361.45 points.
Total
trading turnover reached RO 41,740,272, reflecting a drop of 28.6 percent
compared to the previous session’s value of RO 58,490,951.
MSX
market report noted that the overall market capitalization went up by 0.197 percent
from the last trading day to approximately RO 33.51 billion.
The
trading activity of non-Omani investors saw purchases worth RO 7,041,000, representing
16.87 percent of the total market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 7,256,000,
accounting for 17.38 percent. This resulted in a net investment inflow of RO 215,000
from non-Omani investors, marking a decline of 0.51 percent.
