Khartoum, Jan. 29, 2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Education and National Orientation Dr. Al-Tohami Al-Zein Hajar inspected the Khartoum International Institute for Arabic Language to assess damage caused by the rebel militia during the war against the Sudanese state.The minister said $2.5 million has been allocated to support the institute based on the findings of a damage assessment committee, underscoring its regional role in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.Institute officials confirmed that academic programmes continue remotely and expressed hope for resuming in-person studies following rehabilitation.AS/BH
