Al-Gadarif, Feb. 3, 2026 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Dr. Nuwara Abu Mohamed Tahir on Tuesday inspected the progress of work on the final asphalt-laying phase of the Sixty Road in Al-Gadarif State.Wali of Al-Gadarif State Lt. Gen. Mohamed Ahmed Hassan said in a press statement that the 8.3-kilometre road project is being implemented by the Roads and Bridges Authority of the Ministry of Infrastructure and is scheduled for completion by the end of February. He praised Dr. Nuwara’s close follow-up and support, noting their positive impact on the state government’s performance.Dr. Nuwara also visited the General Administration of Crops Markets, where she reviewed the progress of the 2025–2026 marketing season.For his part, Director-General of the Crops Market Mustafa Ahmed Al-Hussein said the marketing season began in October and has so far shown promising indicators.
