Al-Gadarif, February 3, 2026 (SUNA) — Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Dr. Nuwara Abu Mohamed Tahir met on Tuesday in Al-Gadarif with Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed Hamad Abu Sin, Paramount Chieftain of the Shukriya Tribe in Al-Gadarif and Kassala States.The meeting discussed issues affecting all eastern states, as well as arrangements related to the “Hadalya” Conference and other upcoming conferences.In a press statement, Sheikh Ahmed Abu Sin affirmed the full and continued support of native administrations, in all their components, for the Sudanese Armed Forces in the Battle of Dignity, pledging to stand with them until the entire country is liberated from the stain of rebellion. He also renewed confidence in TSC President and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the nation’s armed forces.Chieftain Abu Sin further stressed the need to unify the internal front in Al-Gadarif, Kassala, and Red Sea States, reject hate speech, and reach consensus on a comprehensive roadmap for the next phase that transcends past disputes and conflicts.BH/BH
