Madani, Feb. 9, 2026 (SUNA) – Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries Professor Ahmed Al-Tijani Al-Mansouri announced the attraction of multiple investments and capital inflows to implement several projects aimed at advancing Sudan’s livestock sector.The announcement came during his inspection of the Livestock Administration headquarters and the fish fingerling production project in Al-Gusseira village, South Al-Gezira locality.The Minister highlighted that the livestock sector had suffered significant destruction at the hands of the Dagalo family terrorist militia. He affirmed, however, that the determination and resilience of the Sudanese people are capable of restoring the sector to an even stronger position than before. This, he said, would be achieved through solidarity, joint efforts, and the engagement of scientific institutions in executing the rehabilitation and reconstruction roadmap.BH/BH
