Rio de Janeiro, February 21 (QNA) – Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo advanced to the semi-finals of the Rio Open tennis tournament after defeating Argentina’s Thiago Tirante in three sets, 7-6, 6-7, 6-1, in the quarter-finals.
Tabilo will face Peru’s Ignacio Buse in the semi-finals. Buse secured his place after overcoming Italy’s Matteo Berrettini in three sets, 6-3, 2-6, 6-3, at the same stage.
Argentina’s Sebastian Baez won last year’s edition of the tournament, defeating France’s Alexandre Muller in the final in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. (QNA)
