23 Feb 2026 (ONA) — A telephone call was held between Sayyid Badr Hamad Al
Busaidi, Foreign Minister and Dr. Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, to consult on current
developments in the region.
During
the call, both sides emphasized the importance of adhering to the principles of
international law and respecting the sovereignty of states. They stressed the
necessity of addressing disputes through peaceful means and constructive
dialogue, contributing to the consolidation of security and stability, and
achieving the aspirations of the region’s peoples for development and
prosperity.
