Doha, February 28 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Saturday from HE Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
During the call, they discussed the security developments in the region and their repercussions on regional and global peace and stability, stressing the criticality of de-escalation and the opening of prospects for dialogue to protect the security of the region and spare it from further tensions.
HE the Greek Prime Minister expressed his country’s solidarity with the State of Qatar, underscoring Greece’s readiness to provide support to Qatar in terms of all measures it takes to protect its sovereignty and security.
For his part, HH the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to HE the Greek Prime Minister for these stances, along with the support that friendly Greece shows to the State of Qatar. (QNA)
