Oman Calls for an End to Military Escalation in the Region, Cautions Against Broadening ConflictMuscat, 28 Feb 2026 (ONA) —- Reaffirming the statement issued today by the Foreign Ministry concerning the joint military operations launched by Israel and the United States (US) against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and its warnings of the perils of expanding the conflict across the region, the Sultanate of Oman urges in the strongest terms the imperative cessation of aggressions and missile strikes targeting sites in countries throughout the region, including the territories of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Iraq and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.The Sultanate of Oman has voiced its condemnation and denunciation of all acts that contravene the rules of international law and undermine the security and stability of the region, as well as the safety of its peoples, calling for adherence to dialogue and diplomacy as the sole means of resolving disputes and safeguarding the legitimate rights of all parties.—- Ends/Khalid
