Doha, February 28 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call today from his brother HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman.
At the outset of the call, HM the Sultan checked on the State of Qatar’s leadership and people following the Iranian aggression that targeted its land.
For his part, HH the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to HM the Sultan of Oman for the sincere brotherly feelings and the honest interest shown towards the State of Qatar and its people.
The call also dealt with discussing security developments in the region and their implication for regional and international peace and stability, with both sides emphasizing the importance of exercising restraint and the return to diplomatic means and dialogue achieve the region’s security and stability.
