Amman, March 1 (Petra) — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi on Sunday held a phone call with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi, during which he affirmed Jordan’s condemnation of the Iranian attack on the Sultanate of Oman.
Safadi stressed the Kingdom’s solidarity with Oman in all measures it takes to safeguard its security and sovereignty.
For his part, Al Busaidi condemned the Iranian attacks on Jordan and underlined his country’s full support for the Kingdom and its solidarity in any step to protect its security and stability.
The two ministers stressed the importance of concerted efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region and to pursue dialogue and diplomacy as a path toward security and stability.
