Amman, March 1 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II, during a phone call with Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman on Sunday, discussed ways to de-escalate tensions in the region.
His Majesty emphasised that Iran’s aggression against the territories of Jordan, the Sultanate of Oman, and a number of Arab countries threatens to widen the circle of conflict.
The King expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by Oman to find a diplomatic solution to the crisis in order to preserve the security and stability of the region.
