Doha, March 1 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received Sunday a phone call from HE President of the Republic of Cyprus, Dr. Nikos Christodoulides.
The Cypriot President expressed his country’s solidarity with the State of Qatar, affirming Nicosia’s condemnation of the blatant Iranian aggression against it, as well as its support for all measures taken by Qatar to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability.
For his part, HH the Amir expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HE the Cypriot President for his solidarity and support, praising the existing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
During the call, the two sides discussed the key security developments in the region and their repercussions on peace and stability in the region and the world. (QNA)
