Amman, March 1 (Petra) – The Public Security Directorate (PSD) continued organizing Ramadan gatherings that bring inmates together with their families, as the correctional and rehabilitation centers in Karak, Qafqafa, and Zarqa hosted iftar banquets that brought inmates and their relatives together in Ramadan atmospheres reflecting the humanitarian and community dimension adopted by the administration of correctional and rehabilitation centers toward its inmates.
At the women’s correctional center in Juwaydeh Women’s Correctional and Rehabilitation Centre, female inmates received their family members at an iftar banquet that carried meanings of compassion and family communication, where a warm human and family atmosphere prevailed.
These Ramadan iftar events are part of a series of social and humanitarian activities implemented by the PSD during the holy month of Ramadan, in line with its comprehensive reform strategy aimed at empowering inmates to reintegrate into society as active members upon completing their sentences.
