Djibouti, March 1 (QNA) – HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Djibouti, Dr. Rashid bin Shafi Al Marri, participated in a meeting between HE President of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelleh and the ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries accredited to Djibouti. The meeting was also attended by HE Djibouti’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and official spokesperson for the government, Abdul Kader Hussein Omar.
The meeting addressed current issues on the Arab and Islamic scene, particularly peace and stability in Arab and Islamic countries, and the level of cooperation among them in addressing their common issues in a spirit of unity and solidarity.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the necessity of strengthening cooperation, coordination, and integration among Arab and Islamic countries in order to protect their common interests. (QNA)
