Doha, March 01 (QNA) – The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has announced a ban on the use, operation, or launch of drones of all types, sizes, and technologies across the country, for any purpose, until further notice, in light of the current situation.
In a statement, the MOI indicated that this ban applies to citizens, residents and visitors, as well government and semi-government bodies, companies, institutions, and others.
The ministry affirmed that any use, attempted operation or facilitation of such aircraft constitutes a clear violation and will result in legal accountability and the necessary measure in accordance with applicable legislation.
The MOI underscored the importance of remaining indoors and limiting movement to cases of absolute necessity, while strictly adhering to official instructions issued by the competent authorities, in order to safeguard public safety. (QNA)
