Doha, March 01 (QNA) – The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) affirmed the availability of goods and products in various retail outlets across the country, ensuring that consumer needs are adequately and regularly met.

In a post on its official X account on Sunday, the MOCI urged the public to adhere to guidelines issued by official authorities, purchase according to need, and promote a culture of conscious consumption.

It also advised people to rely only on official sources and to avoid rumors that may lead to excessive and unnecessary stockpiling, noting that excessive stockpiling leads to damage to goods as a result of not being used.

The ministry called on consumers to buy only actual needs, according to the family’s needs for a reasonable period, and to prepare a list in advance by identifying essential goods and sticking to it to avoid random purchases. It further recommended diversifying purchase outlets to take advantage of alternatives and reduce pressure on a specific point of sale. (QNA)
