Brent crude futures rose to $82.37, marking their highest level since January 2025. This surge occurred during the first futures trading session following military strikes launched by the United States and Israel against Iran. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose by $4.66, or 6.95 percent, to reach $71.68 per barrel.
