Baghdad, March 2 (Petra) – The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority announced on Monday it is extending the closure of Iraqi airspace to all incoming, outgoing, and transiting aircraft for an additional 48 hours.
In a statement, the authority said the extension is effective from 12:00 PM on Monday until 12:00 PM on Wednesday, as a temporary and precautionary measure.
It said the decision came amid regional tensions after a comprehensive review of relevant data, adding the move will be reassessed based on new developments.
