Doha, March 02 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giorgia Meloni.
At the outset of the call, HE the Prime Minister of the Italian Republic inquired about the situation in the State of Qatar following the Iranian aggression, voicing Italy’s condemnation of this aggression and its support for the State of Qatar and its people in these exceptional circumstances.
In turn, HH the Amir voiced his thanks and appreciation to HE the Italian Prime Minister for her sincere feelings and solidarity, commending the close relations that unite the two friendly countries.
Both sides stressed the need to work toward de-escalation and to prioritize political dialogue and diplomacy as the best way to contain the crisis and preserve the region’s security and stability. (QNA)
