Israeli Airstrikes Target Southern Suburbs of Beirut and Other Areas in Lebanon

Beirut, March 02 (QNA) – Israeli warplanes carried out four new airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut on Monday, according to the Lebanese News Agency.

The attacks followed an earlier Israeli strike on a building located between Sahmar and Himar in the Western Beqaa region in eastern Lebanon.

The Israeli army issued urgent warnings to evacuate buildings in 18 villages and towns across southern and eastern Lebanon, as well as the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Preliminary reports indicate that three people were killed and 40 others injured in Israeli strikes across southern and eastern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported that hospitals in Tyre received three fatalities and 37 injured, some with serious wounds. Additionally, three people were injured when the Israeli army targeted a building in Housh al Rafqa in eastern Lebanon. (QNA)
