Doha, March 02 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received on Monday a phone call from HE Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Delcy Rodriguez.
At the outset of the call, HE the Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela inquired about the situation in the State of Qatar following the Iranian attacks, stressing Venezuela’s support for the State of Qatar and its solidarity with it in these circumstances. She also voiced her thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for the State of Qatar’s supportive stances toward the people of Venezuela.
In turn, HH the Amir voiced his appreciation for this stance and the sincere solidarity shown by HE Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, commending the close relations of cooperation and friendship that bind the two countries.
The two sides exchanged views on the repercussions of the current regional situation, stressing the need to stop the escalation and preserve regional and international security and stability. (QNA)
