Beirut, March 3 (QNA) – Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun discussed the current situation in Lebanon and the region in two separate phone calls Tuesday with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, in light of the rapidly evolving developments.
During the calls, the Lebanese President stressed the need to work towards halting the escalation in Lebanon and restoring calm and stability.
He also expressed his country’s solidarity with the Iraqi people during these critical times in the region. (QNA)
