Amman, March 4 (Petra) –The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army – denied on Wednesday that the Armed Forces website had been subjected to a cyberattack.
A military source said that reports circulating on some social media platforms and websites are false. The official website is operating normally under the highest cybersecurity standards.
It has not been subjected to any cyberattack that has affected its operation or the security of its information, he added.
The source added that the Jordanian Armed Forces attaches paramount importance to cybersecurity and works in coordination with relevant authorities to protect official websites and government data from any cyber threats.
