Amman, Mar. 5 (Petra) – President of the Textile, Readymade Clothes and Footwear Syndicate, Sultan Allan, said garment and footwear are available in “large and sufficient” quantities in the local market, both in terms of quantity and variety, adding that their prices will remain “unchanged” in the coming period.
In a statement to “Petra” Thursday, he said imported stock is “ample even after Eid season,” dismissing shortages due to the “large quantities” that have arrived in the Kingdom.
Sultan added that importers and merchants have imported “considerable” quantities from various sources to meet citizens’ needs, especially during the Eid al-Fitr season.
Sultan commended the government’s decisions aimed to ensure sustainability of energy and electricity security and the Kingdom’s supply chains.
