Doha, March 05 (QNA) – The State of Qatar has announced temporary changes to school schedules as classes move to remote learning from March 8 to 12.
In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education said the decision applies to both government and private schools and is intended to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of the learning process during the current period.
Under the revised timetable for government schools, primary school classes will run from 10:00 to 12:35 local time. Preparatory and secondary school classes will begin at 10:30 and continue until 13:15.
The ministry said private schools would be allowed to adjust their schedules flexibly, provided they meet the approved number of study hours for the period.
It added that live lessons in both government and private schools would be delivered through official online learning platforms according to each school’s timetable, to ensure the continuity of education during the remote learning period. (QNA)
