Amman, March 5 (Petra) — Trading volume of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) totaled JD11.4 million on Thursday, as 2.7 million shares were exchanged through 3,000 transactions.
The market’s general share price index closed at 3,629 points, up 0.8%, compared with the previous session.
Of the 89 companies traded, 42 recorded gains, while 19 closed lower.
Sector indices advanced across the board, with industry up 0.89%, financials higher by 0.75%, and services rising 0.74%.
